Ok, so as a mom I feel so bad. I began to read over the majority of my comments the past few months and I didn't say anything about my beautiful baby boy Isaac:-( That was not on purpose..the reality is he is just so stinken sweet and docile that I don't notice all the crazy new things he is doing sometimes. So, I'm here to journal this primarily to myself and you can enjoy reading about him as well. Isaac is almost at the end of his physical therapy and he is already crawling EVERYWHERE and standing up on couches. He is so excited whenever he can even come close to playing alongside his big sister and brother. He adores Asher and is just now starting to trust Taly:-) She was a bit too overly nurturing there for awhile if you get my drift. She loves him so much though! I just love him and I can't believe he is almost 1 years old already. He's the sweetest happiest baby in the world and I just love to watch him play, sing to himself (which he does often), and my favorite is when he rubs his nose and face against mine. He gets such contentment doing that, and well I love it too! I'm just so thankful for all 3 of my beautiful children and from now on I will purposely make sure that I don't just mention my two oldest monkeys when I'm blogging:-) Mommy loves you so much Isaac!!

We had a great time on Taly's birthday this year! Thank the Lord we survived the day despite the fact we all had nasty colds. We took her out to Maggianos and then let the kids run around the mall for a bit before coming home and eating some yummy cake and opening her presents. You can tell Taly is smack dab between two brothers. Her favorite toy was a little pink car I got her. She's always going for Asher's so I figured I better get her her own and she loves it:-) Thanks everyone for your gifts & cards. She had a great day.

Asher & Hannah playing fireman dress up. That seems to be the running theme in our house these days. Hannah is Asher's very favorite friend at the moment-His bed became an official fire truck on this day & they were pretending to radio one another about where they were heading in their fire engine. It was rediculously cute. Asher is so serious about his fire man stuff that he has a snow suit he pretends is a fire outfit and he literally races to have his hat, jacket, suit & boots on in under 30 seconds so he can be like the real firemen..it's great! It's sweet to see that kids can have heroes at such a young age.

Here are some of the photos from Christmas/Hanukkah this year. As you can see we had a white Christmas. The kids had fun playing with the snow on the porch....it was a bit cold though. We also made a Ginger bread house together and celebrated Jesus' birthday by making it His birthday cake this year. The kids thoroughly enjoyed both the process of making the house and partaking of it about 2 minutes after it was finished..it was fun.

These two pictures do not do justice to how much Isaac looks like Asher did when Asher was his age. This is the best I can do at finding a photo that somewhat captures their similarities. It is amazing to see genetics and they look SO MUCH ALIKE it is scary! Anyways, maybe you can see from these pics what I mean..The one with Keith laying on the ground is with Asher when he was 4.5 months old and the one of Isaac is at 4 months old.

There is a mish mosh of pictures here from about the last week in November when we visited the zoo up until just today (Christmas Day). It's been a very busy month for us as it is with everyone. My little ones are asleep as I am writing this after a long Christmas day. Asher iced & decorated his first cake which is going to be dedicated to Jesus' birthday. Taly just enjoyed eating all the candy off of the cake & surprising us Christmas Eve with her first steps.. We are so excited she is walking, but now I am going to really have to keep an eye on her :-) It was a great Christmas gift & we had a nice time as a family lighting the Menorah & teaching Asher & Taly about the shamash or "servant Candle" along with why we celebrate both Hanukkah & Christmas. They are both pretty young still, but you never know what the Lord is molding in their little minds. Right now we are all just enjoying the lights on the tree & the glow of the menorah which has been a treat to all of us. Anyways, enjoy the pictures of my two little ones..growing so big...and only about 4 weeks to go until our next little guy "Isaac Joseph" arrives..WOW time is going by fast. Most of the pictures are from Christmas Eve (and Day) along with the 2nd and 3rd night of Hanukkah (December 22 & 23rd but there are some like the one with Asher on the carousel with Keith that were from November. There are pics of the two of them playing with their new Christmas/Hanukkah toys. Also there are a couple of shots of Taly in there that were too cute to pass up posting. She's the most photogenic kid I have about ever seen....both her & her brother love to pose for the camera.

Asher found out that there is more to the zoo this time of year then animals. We took him and his little sister to the Lincoln Park Zoo for the Christmas light presentation & he and Taly loved it. In these photos he is trying to look into this snowman display to see how it was lit up. I thought it was a sweet photo of my childs curiosity. The snowman picture is what the display looked like a little above where Asher was standing.

Thanksgiving was a little quieter then usual this year because both my babies were under the weather:-( However, we still enjoyed all the yummy stuff that goes with meal time,and hey the table looked pretty (minus the mismatched chairs). The pictures of Athalya were taken on Thanskgiving morning. She was just happy to have her bottle to feast on as she had no idea it was her first real Thanksgiving celebration. However, she did a nice job cleaning her plate of turkey, corn casserole & stuffing..the kid can eat!!!!!

It looks like a shrunken shiny rhinocerous..How would you like to find that hanging on your shoulder when you come up out of the water in a swimming pool! Keith was mesmerized by the lizards at my parents, but I was far more impressed with my mini-dinosaur looking beatle..And please if you know what it is let us know!!

Don't worry we don't step far from the swing it self:-)He's also finally braved up and likes to climb up everything he sees..That part makes me a little nervous, but I guess we have to let him learn at some point. This picture is from quite some time ago, but it is the only ultra sound picture Keith & I have of our next little guy. SO, I thought maybe I should scan it and share it with the grandma/grandpa's in case anyone was interested in seeing the skeleton sea monkey as they call it floating around in my tummy:-) I thought for an ultra sound it was kind of cute because he looks like he has a big boot on his foot and you can see most of his facial feature. My friend Becca & I created a book for Asher recently. It's a true story of his missing guitar pick which I wrote. Becca did an AWESOME job illustrating the story for me. She far surpassed my expectations. We will be presenting this book to Asher in the next couple of weeks. CHECK IT OUT

Taly & Asher have had a lot going on this month. Grandy came to stay with us for 5 weeks to help out because of some minor pregnancy stuff. So they got to spend lots of time with her & then Aunt Rachel came and brought her friend Bobby to visit. Taly & Asher both were spoiled which is always nice for them. Ok, Finally I am trying to make an effort to get some photos up and posted to our blog. Here is the most recent batch from the past few weeks. Taly & Asher went apple picking the 2nd week of September & loved it. We took a long tractor ride and both of them got to pick out some of their own apples. I think they both enjoyed the ride a bit more then the apple picking itself, but I was proud of them:-) Earlier today we got out and played in the fall leaves for a short time until Asher decided he was cold & hungry:-( Taly wasn't the least bit interested in leaving she was far too happy just eating the leaves-yes thats right, eating the leaves. I thought my mother-in-law was going to have a nervous break down pulling chunks of leaves out of her mouth every 2 seconds. It was funny nonetheless;-) Never a dull moment in the Greenberg family.

Athalya legally became our little girl as of July 28th. She also decided to start crawling the same day. Now she is one seriously on the move baby girl. I forget how quick these little guys get around especially when your not looking:-) Asher loves having a little sister who can keep up with him though, and she is literally on his heels! She's so beautiful..I am only slightly bias but she's getting cuter by the minute. We've been giving her new foods like bananas, baby crackers & yogurt (Which she LOVES). Now she refuses to eat peas,carrots and any other healthy food. She has a mind of her own and she wants to eat what she wants.Naranda Panda came to visit too which was a nice time for all of us. She brought all sorts of cute things for both Asher & Taly. Also, usually babies say dada first but lately when Taly is crying or wants to be held she is just starting to say"mamamamama" which I take to mean "mommy". She's definitely developing quick & keeping all of us on our toes:-) She's going to be a great big sister come February!

Outside of his guitar the second most important thing in the world are Diggers, mini-loaders & excavators. Asher can't get enough of the construction site workers(AKA:Bob the Builder) One night Keith & I took a walk with the kids and we stumbled across this mini-loader. Keith decided to put Asher in it for a few minutes. He loved every second of his digging experience.

Asher does a lot of things these days considering he is two, but one thing he can't get enough of is his guitar (& his dads for that matter). I have never heard of a two year old getting guitar lessons, but it is seriously on my radar. He even goes to sleep with the 6 stringed instrument next to him:-) See Aunt Rachel I'm not exaggerating. I made up a remake song to Brian Adams "Summer of 69". It goes "Yeah, I got my first real 6 string when I was just 2 years old. I played it til my fingers bled (literally) was the summer of 2008. ...
